We came from the legendary Gorkha region, and been serving our hospitality to travelers from around the world for more than decade. Our valuable travelers can expect beautiful rooms with breakfast included, home amenities, small dining place, well furnished & equipped, and most importantly peaceful accommodation and friendly environment with our staffs who are always there to comfy your stay.
There is an open ground nearby, which is nice to visit and watch local kids and adults are seen enjoying sports like volleyball and football. Nepalese Hospitality at its Best! Beautiful & Clean Bed & Breakfast!
We stayed in Gurung's Home upon returning to Kathmandu after our ABC trek. I believe my entire party was most pleasantsly surprised and impressed that this Bed & Breakfast would serve as all-round better accommodations than the hotel we stay in when we first arrived here.
The rooms were splendid, cosy and comfortable. You can tell that much thought had been put into the little things. For example, there were scented air fresheners, power sockets that accommodate various international plugs, provided flip flops and toiletries, among others.
When it comes to cleanliness, Gurung's Home is spotless! One doesn't really see or feel the dustiness of Kathmandu's streets when in the confines of the property. I dare say, it's probably cleaner than my own home. if the Home's caretaker isn't preparing breakfast for us, it seems he's always cleaning the property!
The best thing of all, of course, was our wonderful, warm host as well as his colleagues (including our outstanding trek guide and porters), family and friends who drop by. Gurung is always ready to greet you with smiles and always willing to have great conversation with his guests. On our last night, Gurung himself even whipped up a home-cooked Nepalese meal on short notice just for us!
Gurung's House is also an easy short walk away from the shopping streets of Thamel so it's also really convenient and accessible to amenities.
I would most definitely stay here again if were to return to Kathmandu.

ネパールは今回で6回目で、カトマンズのホテルはかなりあちこち泊まりましたが、今まで泊まった中で間違いなく一番です！オーナーさんは日本に長く住んでいたそうで、日本人の気持ちをよく分かってくれるし、日本語がうまくて、いろいろ親切に相談にのってくれて安心できました。タメルから近くて便利なわりに、静かな環境で寛げました。お部屋はオシャレで清潔だし、スタッフの方々の対応もいいし、とにかく言うことないです！絶対オススメです！！！
